Power comes from rotation. Accuracy comes from consistency. Cliff’s ‘feet together’ drill both encourages rotation and calms body movement…thereby increasing power and improving accuracy.
The ‘feet together’ drill can be difficult, at least initially. The first time I did it, I spent a good 10 minutes falling over myself because my body and swing were so off balance. I did end up getting the hang of it, though, and I’m happy to report that my power and accuracy have indeed increased — rather ironically, from standing still.
