Calgary, AB … April 7th, 2014 …

Coby Iwaasa from Lethbridge, Alberta was seeking his 4th consecutive Men’s Open Provincial Title and he did not disappoint as he was victorious over Mitchell Brayley from Calgary, 15-1, 15-7 in the finals at the University of Calgary. Coby still holds the record of being the youngest player ever to win the Provincial Men’s Open Singles title in 2011. Coby not only won the singles crown but teamed up with Manny Gregorio from Edmonton to win the Men’s Open Doubles division over Cam Stephenson and Glen Yaretz from Calgary in an exciting tiebreaker match 8-15, 15-11, 11-6.

Coby Iwaasa will leave on Tuesday, April 8th for Bolivia to be part of Team Canada in competing at the 2014 Pan Championships for racquetball in Santa Cruz.
