A little throwback … I’m 18 here I believe… Receiving a trophy for winning the 1984 Ektelon Nationals & 10k +++. Sure was a fun party with my high school buddy, Rick Gately, when I returned from LA. Tough tournament… Rd of 32 vs Brian Hawkes was 11-8 breaker. Then Mike Ray, Marty Hogan, then my idol (still), Dave Peck, then his bro Gregg Peck. What an honor to play all of those people in 1 weekend. The finals were aired prime time… On a Sunday just b4 a Celtics – Lakers clash. I want the sport back to that point. It can happen.
