The day Cliff came to Sarasota I almost did not show up to our appointment because I had just been diagnosed, earlier that day, with the Shingles. I had been dealing with the pain from Shingles on my head and my energy level was drained but somehow I garnered the strength to get up off the couch and seize the opportunity to meet and hang out with one of the greatest racquetball players in history, Cliff Swain. And man, am I glad that I showed up to meet him and get trained by him!! It turns out that I have been using the wrong grip and swing for both my forehand and backhand shots since I started playing racquetball 24 years ago. No wonder I have not been able to beat Mike Harmon!!! – LOL…
Cliff’s instructions on how to hold the racquet and how to swing were priceless. Cliff’s explanations on the proper mechanics were easy to understand, easy to remember and easy to retain because he lays out the basics so masterfully. It was impressive to experience this level of training! It has been weeks since our training session and I can hear his voice every time I swing! It tells me exactly what I need to do to effortlessly yet consistently SMASH the ball. Cliff’s training has stuck with me and my game is changing dramatically. Most of the players in my racquetball clubs are noticing my new swing and the consistent power I am generating! I love it!! I used to spend so much time and energy trying to get myself in a posture and court position where I could kill the ball but I was very inconsistent and it was exhausting to the point that I almost quit playing racquetball and picked up another sport.
Now, after Cliff’s training, I have a fresh and new approach to racquetball and I can see myself improving every time I go play or practice. I now feel that I will get to a higher level of play. I can now kill the ball with 75% less effort and much more consistently in just about any court position. I would have never thought in a million years that I could kill the ball like I am doing now. Wow!!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, MASTER SWAIN!!!
